Valle de Bravo

3 days as part of a tailor-made holiday in Mexico

A tranquil, upmarket rural retreat from the agitation of Mexico City, Valle de Bravo owes its popularity to the beautiful lake of the same name. Visit it to relax during or at the end of your holiday in Mexico.

Situated on a mountain slope close to the shores, it is a town of whitewashed buildings and terracotta roofs, a 2hr drive from the capital.  There’s  a great opportunity to enjoy outdoor pursuits such as boating, kayaking, horse-riding and paragliding.

During the months of October and November the surrouding pine forests play host to millions of  bright orange monarch butterflies.

Suggested Holiday Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Valle de Bravo. Stay 2 nights.
Day 2: Sailing lesson on Valle de Bravo lake. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the town.
Day 3: Morning at leisure. Transfer to Mexico City or Morelia in the afternoon.
