The Cities of Colonial Mexico

Sundays from Mexico City 6 days, 5 nights Operates with a minimum of 4 passengers On this trip taking in some of the loveliest colonial towns, you will have shared transport and a guide. You will be driven by fast road to Morelia. After a guided tour here continue to Patzcuaro, where the main square has been voted the most exquisite in Mexico, overnight. Drive over the mountains to Guadalajara, now a huge metropolis but with a magnificent Spanish core. Next day, excursion to the Tequila region and a distillery of the famous spirit. Continue to Tiaquepaque, the cradle of mariachi music; return to Guadalajara for the night. Following a tour of the city proceed to Guanajuato, overnight. After a city tour drive to San Miguel de Allende and enjoy a guided tour of the town mingling with the artists and retirees drawn to the sharp sunshine and quaint cobbled streets. Next day, return to Mexico City via Querétaro with its elegant historic centre.   How about?
