The Galapagos Islands

Cruise Ship - MV Galápagos Explorer II

5, 7, 9 and 11 day cruise from £1,758

Luxury Galápagos Islands cruise

Fly From Guayaquil or Quito to Baltra or San Cristóbal
Tuesdays: 5 or 11 days, Fridays: 5 or 9 days, Saturdays: 7 or 11 days

One of the larger ships cruising the Galápagos, The Explorer II offers stability and plenty of space to its maximum 100 passengers. Visitors (mostly English-speaking) are well-looked after - there are 73 crew and naturalist guides on board providing impeccable service. The 50 air-conditioned suites (with twin or double beds) are distributed over five decks and have outside view. There is a wide range of facilities to entertain passengers including a library and games room, small pool/Jacuzzi, solarium, massage suite, and occasional shows and discos - creating a hybrid of a traditional cruise and an expeditionary trip. The décor is rather reminiscent of the 1970s without being intentionally retro!

Cruise Itinerary

Recent changes to Galápagos National Park guidelines mean that cruise itineraries now vary greatly from departure to departure. The islands visited on each holiday will be determined by your departure date and the length of the cruise, so we no longer feature detailed itineraries on our Galápagos holiday cruise pages. Our travel consultants can provide you with detailed information about cruise itineraries that apply to your preferred dates, or see our Galapagos FAQ page for more information.
