Pull yourself away from the luxurious rooftop pool of The Saratoga and delve into the backstreets of Old Havana. Stroll around the beautiful plazas, take the time to visit a museum (anything from colonial art to rum-making), before soaking up the music and a cuba libre in one of the (many) bars said to have been frequented by Hemingway. Today’s Havana retains its unique charm, although there is a wind of change mingling with the cigar smoke that makes this a destination to visit sooner, rather than later.
