Daily from Pereira 4 days, 3 nights You will be staying on a working coffee farm where facilities are simple but the atmosphere homely and welcoming (top-end hotel accommodation is also available). The ‘coffee country’ is located on the western slopes of the central Andean range, with a  pleasant climate. The scenery is most attractive with lush, green mountains – shiny coffee bushes are interspersed with enormous bamboo jungles and banana plants. Most of the population live in villages or on farms where coffee is still produced in the traditional way with all the berries picked by hand. You will have the opportunity to watch and understand the various stages of coffee production as well as go horse-riding, hiking, and river rafting. Visit the picturesque villages of the area and relax in the sun.  This is also excellent bird-watching country.
