Cruise of the fjords of Patagonia
From Puerto Montt

6 days, 5 nights or 4 days, 3 nights.
The fractured, northerly stretch of the coast of Chilean Patagonia is largely inaccessible by land.
This region, along with the island of Chiloé and its outlying islets, is blessed with stunning volcanoes, crystal clear fjords and natural hot springs. It makes ideal cruising territory.
Cahuella is a hand-crafted motor cruiser built on the island of Chiloé - a fine mix of traditional wood with the most modern navigation equipment.
The boat is equipped with 4 twin-berth cabins and a spacious living area with large windows. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide, a talented cook and highly-qualified crew.
The longer trip begins on the island of Chiloé; rich in folklore, wildlife and superb seafood. The first night is spent in a local farmhouse. (The 3 night option starts in Puerto Montt).
Travel on by boat towards the spectacular grandeur of mainland Patagonia, with its deep channels and steep-walled fjords. Visit natural hot springs, cruise past towering volcanoes, and view the ancient, fairy-land temperate rain forest, host to South America’s newest park project - Pumalín.
