Spend 3 nights in Rio exploring this colourful city before continuing down the coast towards Angra dos Reis, to spend 4 nights on the lush and tropical Costa Verde, Emerald Coast.

Itinerary

Day 1: Upon arrival in Rio you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the fabulous view across Copacabana beach and Guanabara Bay
Day 2: Take the cable car ride up to Sugar Loaf Mountain to enjoy the iconic views of Rio and the coastline.
Day 3: Visit Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Stand at the feet of this imposing statue to appreciate the Brazilian saying ‘God took 6 days to create the world and he dedicated the 7th to Rio’!
Day 4: You will be picked up from your hotel for the 2.5hr drive south along the Costa Verde, Emerald Coast, to the Pestana Angra, 30 minutes from the village of Angra dos Reis.
Day 5,6,7: Relax, unwind and enjoy this fabulous cliff top location with its private beach, pool, spa and sumptuous cuisine.
Day 8: You will be met at the hotel and return to Rio, either your hotel or airport if returning home.

Rio – stay in the heart of Rio, at the Pestana Rio Atlântica on Copacabana Beach. With is roof top swimming pool and exclusive sun lounges on Copacabana Beach, this tourist class superior hotel offers excellent service, comfort and style.

Angra dos Reis – stay at the Pestana Angra overlooking the clear waters of the Emerald Coast. Accommodation is First Class and comprises of separate bungalows, all ocean facing. When to go

Brazil is a great destination all year round. However, if you’re looking for a some sunshine and relaxation along the tropical coast in the south the best months are October to May.
