Buzios has grown substantially since it was visited by Brigitte Bardot in her heyday and the once remote cliffs and picturesque hillsides are now sprinkled with holiday homes. But it still has a magical, European feel, hotels are boutique-style posadas, small and chic, and the little coves a delight for sunbathing.
