Highlights include a wine tour in Argentina and a stay at a jungle lodge with rainforest excursions. Finish up in Rio, the most vivacious city of the Americas.

Day 1: Transfer to hotel Buenos Aires, stay 3 nights.
Day 2: City tour of Buenos Aires.
Day 3: At leisure in Buenos Aires. Evening tango show with dinner.
Day 4: Fly to Salta, stay 2 nights.
Day 5: Excursion to Jujuy and the Humahuaca Gorge.
Day 6: Drive to the Calchaquies Valleys. Overnight in Cachi.
Day 7: Drive to the vineyards of Cafayate. Return to Salta, overnight.
Day 8: Fly to Puerto Iguazú, stay 2 nights.
Day 9: Excursions to the Iguazú falls.
Day 10: Transfer to a jungle lodge, stay 2 nights.
Day 11: Choice of rainforest excursions.
Day 12: Fly to Rio de Janeiro, stay 3 nights in Copacabana.
Day 13: Excursion to Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car.
Day 14: Excursion to the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Day 15: Transfer to the airport.

Owing to many clients' preference for flexibility, and the variation in flight price according to season and availability, the price quoted excludes the cost of international flights, which we will happily arrange for you. Flights to Latin America can be daytime or overnight, while the return flight is always overnight, so you will need to add at least one day to arrive at the total length of your holiday

Our Comment

Away from the sophistication of Buenos Aires and the famous glaciers of the south, the canyon country of eastern Argentina is less-well known but no less captivating for that. The rainbow coloured rocks and vestiges of indigenous culture make for a fascinating visit.
