Daily from El Chaltén 4 days, 3 nights Travel by public bus to El Chaltén (4hrs). Accommodation is in a simple hotel in the town. You will enjoy 2 full day guided excursions, one of which is a hike leading to the Laguna de Los Tres involving some quite steep climbs – you are rewarded with fantastic views. The other is a scenic drive to the beautiful Lago del Desierto, a beautiful lake set in a landscape of brooks, lagoons and waterfalls framed by Mount Fitz Roy. From there, you can choose one of many hikes; the hills are laced with trails, or relax and simply enjoy the lake setting.
