Self-Drive: Argentina on the Road

12 days from £2,224

Please Note

Since June 2011 some areas of the Argentine lake district have been affected by volcanic ash meaning we are unable to offer this self-drive holiday until further notice. This does not affect our self-drive routes in north-west Argentina and Chile.

The photogenic lake district around Bariloche offers a popular holiday in Argentina for outdoor enthusiasts, whether you're seeking a relaxing holiday in the countryside or active sports. The peaceful region is well-served by roads and ideal for self-drive exploration by hire car, and we have included a few days' self-drive in this holiday in the lake district and Patagonia. The rainbow-hued canyons around Salta on the flanks of the Andes make up another great area to be on the road and you can drive round both regions in one holiday on the road.

Owing to many clients' preference for flexibility, and the variation in flight price according to season and availability, the price quoted excludes the cost of international flights, which we will happily arrange for you. Flights to Latin America can be daytime or overnight, while the return flight is always overnight, so you will need to add at least one day to arrive at the total length of your holiday.
