How to Book your Journey
Our Group Tours team are always on hand to help you select the right Journey and talk you through any extensions you may wish to choose. Once you're decided, there are 4 easy ways to book your holiday....
By phone
You can book your Journey by calling our dedicated Group Tours team on 020 8747 8315. We are open Monday - Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays 9am- 5pm. You can pay your deposit over the phone and later return your Booking Form by post or email.
By post or fax
You can post or fax your booking form (found at the bottom of our homepage or in our printed brochure) along with a cheque of £250 to confirm your place on the Journey

Online
You can book online by going to the 'Dates and Prices' section of your chosen Journey. Chose from prices 'including flights from the UK' or 'land only' and simply click on the red 'Book now' button alongside your departure date.
Please note it is not possible to book online within 1 month of departure - call us instead!
Important information
Please read our Terms and Conditions and General Information carefully before booking on a Journey Latin America Journey. Here are just a few of the important things for you to bear in mind before booking:
Names
All names given on the booking form must be exactly as they appear in your passport. If names on your airline tickets do not match those in your passport you may be refused boarding. It is your responsibility to check how your name appears in your passport.
Ages
We welcome all travellers on our group holidays over the age of 12. If you are over the age of 70 we ask you to fill in a self-assessment form. In addition, JLA reserves the right to ask for a doctor's medical certificate if we feel it is necessary for your enjoyment of the holiday to check that it is suitable for you.
Single travellers
If you are happy to share a room with a group member of the same sex there is no supplement charged. However, we do hold a limited number of rooms for travellers who prefer single occupancy, and a supplement applies if you request one. These are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so if would like your own room try not to leave booking until the last minute. Please note that, JLA reserves the right to charge the single supplement if you book within 4 weeks of departure.
Travel Insurance
All travellers must have adequate cover while on a Journey Latin America holiday, we also recommend you purchase insurance at the time of booking to secure cover against the loss of monies paid to us in the event you need to cancel before departure. Please supply us with details of your insurers before you travel.
Injections + malaria tablets
You must consult your GP or medical advisor before travel for up to date information about recommended or mandatory immunisation, and malaria preventions.
Visas
Currently, British passport holders do not need visas for any country in Latin America. However, all travellers must check with their embassies for up-to-date information.
Deposit
We require a deposit of £250 per person to secure a booking for any group Journey. If you choose an extension, this may carry an additional deposit, which will be advised.
Final payment
Full payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure, we will contact you with a reminder! If you book your holiday within the final 8 weeks, full payment is taken at the time of booking. If final payment is not promptly received after our reminder, you risk losing your place on the tour and any deposit paid to date.
Payments
There is no charge for making payment by cheque or debit card. If you wish to pay by credit card a surcharge of 1.5% will be added to the total transaction.
Confirmation
All Journeys are confirmed 2 months before departure. In the unlikely event your Journey does not reach minimum numbers we will contact you with alternative suggestions or refund your deposit if you wish.
