Holiday itinerary
Day 1 Fly to San Jose arriving that evening.
Days 2,3 Drive and boat to Tortuguero National Park, a huge tract of rainforest.
Days 4-6 Drive through cloud forests to Monteverde, home to lush vegetation and hundreds of species of birds.
Days 7,8 Continue to Arenal, and enjoy views of the active volcano and excellent walking opportunities in the surrounding rainforest.
Day 9 Cross into Nicaragua and drive to Morgan’s Rock, world famous eco-lodge overlooking the Pacific Coast.
Day 10 Day at leisure to explore and relax.
Day 11 Drive to Granada, a colonial gem on the edge of Lake Nicaragua.
Day 12 Visit nearby market town of Masaya, and active volcano of the same name.
Day 13 Depart from Managua, arriving UK day 14.
