Day 1 Fly to Rio de Janeiro. Days 2,3 Ride the cable-car up Sugarloaf Mountain. Optional visit to Christ Redeemer statue. Days 4 Fly to Foz do Iguaçú and explore the thundering waterfalls. Day 5,6 Fly to Buenos Aires, enjoy a city tour and optional tango show. Day 7,8 Fly to Bariloche set within the craggy mountains of the Argentinean lake district. Day 9 Picturesque full day lake crossing through the Andes to Chile Day 10 At leisure in lakeside Puerto Varas, or optional trip to Chiloé island. Day 11 Fly to southern Patagonia and drive to Torres del Paine National Park. Days 12,13 Explore the sweeping mountain landscapes on foot and included glacier boat ride. Day 14 Drive to Punta Arenas, visiting a penguin colony en route. Day 15 Fly to Chile’s teeming cosmopolitan capital, Santiago. Day 16 Visit a nearby vineyard producing the exciting emergent New World wines. Day 17 Depart, arriving UK day 18.
