Holiday itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Rio de Janeiro.
Days 2,3 Ride the cable-car up Sugarloaf Mountain. Optional visit to Christ Redeemer statue.
Days 4 Fly to Foz do Iguaçú and explore the thundering waterfalls.
Days 5-7 Fly to Buenos Aires, enjoy a city tour and optional tango show.
Days 8,9 Fly to Bariloche set within the craggy mountains of the Argentinean lake district.
Day 10 Picturesque full day lake crossing through the Andes to Chile.
Day 11 At leisure in lakeside Puerto Varas, or optional trip to Chiloé island.
Day 12 Fly to southern Patagonia and drive to Torres del Paine National Park.
Days 13,14 Explore the sweeping mountain landscapes on foot and included glacier boat ride.
Day 15 Drive to Punta Arenas, visiting a penguin colony en route.
Day 16 Fly to Chile’s teeming cosmopolitan capital, Santiago.
Day 17 Visit a nearby vineyard producing the exciting emergent New World wines.
Day 18 Depart, arriving UK day 19.
