Boutique Hotels

Introduction

The beach at Casa Sandra, Holbox, MexicoThe shores of Latin America are blessed with wonderful beaches, from coves of powder-white sand lapped by turquoise Caribbean waters to the endless stretches of sun-baked golden sands on Brazil’s Atlantic coast.  These are now peppered with a vast range of hotels of all standards.

Relax in one resort for a week or two and organise excursions from there, or add on a beach 'wind down' at the beginning or end of a touring itinerary: we’re sure to be able to find the right destination and hotel for you. We can arrange as long or as short a beach holiday as you like.

The hotels and resorts featured here are only examples of some of the best and represent a tiny sample of the options available to you. From boutique coastal chic to relaxing islands and family-friendly resorts, the options for beach holidays in Latin America are improving all the time.

Remember to think about combining more than one country or destination. With internal flight connections in Latin America improving, you may well be able to do your sightseeing in one country and the winding down on a beach in another. Mix the Andean highlights in Peru with tropical beaches in Brazil, or highland markets in Guatemala with Caribbean cayes in Belize...

Note - avoid coastal Cuba, Mexico and Belize in the hurricane season! The months of September and October often see hurricanes hit the Caribbean (in particular Cuba, Mexico, Belize and Florida). We recommend you plan your beach holiday to Mexico outside of these months.
