Highlights: "There were many - but if I have to choose I would say being able to see the wildlife in the Galapagos and having the opportunity to get so close to the animals...All crew, staff and guides were very good"

Highlights: "Visiting the first island, Espanola, and more or less falling over sea lions, crabs, iguanas and blue footed boobies"
CS, Notting Hill, August 2011
Highlights: "Walking in woodland with wild giant tortoise grazing in clearings, watching wild land iguanas amble through long grasses, peering at eye level into the nests of red footed boobies, watching penguins and sea lions hunting fish whilst snorkelling, and as a finale, watching huge sharks circling in the boat lights during our final evening meal. Then we went to Peru and Machu Picchu!!!! Just breathtaking"

"The Galapagos Islands were something else - quite outstanding for the wonderful wildlife and abundant sea life while snorkelling"
CP, Southampton, February 2011
Most memorable aspect: "Snorkelling/Swimming with the turtles and all the other beautiful fish. Seeing this unique part of the world and marvelling that the wildlife is unafraid of the visitors. Learning from the extremely knowledgeable naturalists (two were exceptional)"
JG, Gerrards Cross, April 2011
"The Galapagos were above expectation - the best thing we have done"
DL, Dulwich August 2010
"Staying on an island in the Galapagos has a lot going for it, apart from being cheaper than the cruises. Isabella is beautiful and we saw almost every bit of wildlife that the people on boat trips did - more in some cases when we went hiking. More of our tourist dollars went into the local economy and we had a better interaction with the local community. The 20 min Emetebe flight is worth the extra fare. People told us of very uncomfortable speedboat rides in the current rough seas"
JK, Basingstoke, August 2010
"The wildlife on the islands (obviously the major reason for the trip) was spectacular and wonderful to experience. I’m please to have made the trip and would certainly recommend the Galapagos to anyone with similar interests and sufficient money"
PM, Chesterfield, July 2010
"The Galapagos Islands are all the legend says... they are a wonderland. If I say that of all places I have visited in the world only the Grand Canyon is their equal in impact and living up to expectation you will have an idea of how they affected both of us"
DW, Lingfield, June 2010
"The Galapagos Islands were out of this world"
DJ, Chesterfield, January 2010

DA, Wandsworth, November 2009
Highlights: "Swimming with sea lions, seeing blue-footed boobies and sea iguanas as it’s not an everyday occurrence (plus the baby albatross). And, bizarrely, learning how to fold towels to make all sort of animals (boobies included) from the excellent cabin staff!"
