Climate
Weather in Guyana is typically hot with average daily temperatures of 27ºC and it remains warm during the night. The north of the country experiences two wet seasons - from May to June and December to February. The south and the Rupununi has only one wet season - from May to July.

Republic day is the 23rd of February, and celebrations usually last for about a week.
