Naturally, we were tempted with the thought of how this stage of the tour might be prolonged – in our case, of course, that was not an option, but it is not easy to see how it would be feasible for other tours, unless the area were to be greatly developed for tourists, which God forbid!"

"The journey through Bolivia from Lake Titicaca to San Pedro de Atacama was unforgettable…For both of us though the highlight of our trip was the journey through Bolivia, the crossing of Lake Titicaca and the visit to the Sun Island and then the 3 days we spent driving down to the Chilean border with the guide and driver was simply the best, it reminded us of journeys we made back in the late 60’s through Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran.
